I earned my medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine, a Master of Public Health degree from the University of South Florida, and a healthcare-focused Master of Business Administration degree from the University of California, Irvine. With more than 15 years of experience practicing outpatient medicine, I am a board-certified physician dedicated to thoughtful, preventive, and patient-centered care and am especially passionate about caring for older adults and helping them maintain independence, mobility, and quality of life as they age.
My focus is on proactive screening, chronic disease management, medication review, and individualized wellness planning. Additionally, I am also experienced in the evaluation and nonsurgical management of musculoskeletal conditions and related pain, helping patients improve comfort, function, and day-to-day mobility. With each patient I see, I take the time to understand their medical history, goals, and concerns, recognizing that excellent care is built on a trusted long-term relationship. I live in Irvine, California, with my wife and daughter.

Tai Won Kim, MD

It has been my privilege to practice medicine for nearly six decades, with a specialization in internal medicine. I received my medical degree from Yonsei University College of Medicine in Seoul, South Korea, before immigrating to the United States to continue my life's work in patient care.
As an internist, I am dedicated to diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of conditions, including type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, bronchitis, ataxia, intestinal diverticulitis, hyperlipidemia, and more. My CMS Meaningful Use Stage 1 and 2 Certifications reflect my commitment to tracking conditions, coordinating care, and submitting clinical quality measures through modern electronic systems, all in service of providing my patients with the highest quality of care and experience.
